Electrically insulating powder Coating system

The electrically insulating powder coating system provides an excellent way to apply an insulating layer to surfaces while offering mechanical strength and corrosion protection. By utilizing an electric field, it ensures an even coating that provides high resistance to electrical currents. This process enables durable and reliable insulation of components used in electrical or electronic applications.

Electrically insulating powder Coating system

Our solution for Flat Wire Stator Powder coating process for Hairpin Winding Technology. IEC powder coating systems are based on a stabilized powder surface, where the behavior of the powder particles is precisely controlled. This allows uniform coating thicknesses to be achieved even with complex geometries.

Benefits

  • No mask needed
  • Full turn Key!
  • No contamination to stator unit – powder goes down, not to stator unit upon coating
  • Able to Coat ±1mm Height Accuracy
  • Uniform and reproducible coating quality
  • Consistent layer thicknesses thanks to controlled powder surface
  • Thick insulation layers with reduced masking effort
  • High material efficiency through powder recovery
  • Efficient curing using induction heating (IH)
  • High process reliability for series and large-scale production
